Ataturk Museum (Revolution Museum)

The Atatürk Museum, also known as the "Revolution Museum," located on Halaskargazi Street within the borders of Istanbul Şişli, was converted into a museum by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 1942 and opened to visitors. In the house where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk resided for a while, there are valuable materials related to the War of Independence and Atatürk and Atatürk's personal belongings.

After World War I, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk left the Syrian front on November 13, 1918, and returned to Istanbul and stayed in Pera Palace. Later, he rented Osep Kasabyan's three-storey house in Şişli, which dates back to 1908. This three-storey house, where he stayed at that time, was opened to visitors on June 15, 1942, under the name of "Atatürk Revolution Museum".

Atatürk Museum, where you will come across many valuable items covering the time Atatürk stayed at home and the period from birth to death, even gives information about the period of the National Struggle. It is also possible to see Atatürk's personal and valuable belongings on the Atatürk House Museum's second floor, where many photographs, documents about Atatürk's life, and his reforms, his belongings, and clothes, the paintings of the War of Independence and more are exhibited.

In the dining room section of Atatürk's House Museum, which can be seen at the building entrance, Atatürk's Address to the Youth, and his handwriting documents, the visitors are welcomed by the paintings about the War of Independence. In addition to the numerous photographs from Atatürk's birth to his death on the living room walls, you can also examine various books written about Atatürk on the third floor, which is the last floor.
