Clogs Are Heard From Ankara Baths

Don't think that the capital with a history of almost 5000-year-old civilization doesn't have a bath culture! Hosting civilizations, this historical city has the first bath museum around Turkey!

The hygiene has always been important in this journey dating back to the Romans and Hittites, and of course, the State living it up best was the Ottomans. In addition to the bath dating back to the 13th century AD and still used today, the most attracting artifact in the city is located in Altındağ district. It is hard to believe, but it is possible to see the remainings of the old baths, which were built by Romans 1700 years ago, in other words, in the 3rd century!

As I have just mentioned, the first bath museum of Turkey was established in Ankara! Besides, located in Beypazarı, Pasha Bath Museum is one of the baths among 32 baths built by Rüstem Pasha in 1500s during the ruling of Süleyman the Magnificent, and it is worth to see. Converted into a museum with the support of Ankara Development Agency, the area offers the opportunity to experience the Seljukian and Ottoman bath culture.

In addition to these baths, I listed the most historical baths around Ankara. What about having a bath after some stuffed vine leaves in these historical baths where the sounds of clogs on the marble ground and laughs echo?
