The East Side Gallery, the longest preserved section of the Berlin Wall, is located in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district of Berlin and is considered one of the largest open-air galleries in the world. This historic section of the wall, approximately 1.3 kilometers long, was transformed into a work of art in 1990 when it was painted by international artists.

The East Side Gallery celebrates the fall of the Berlin Wall with contributions from over 100 artists from around the world, addressing themes of peace, freedom, and hope. Among its most famous works are Dmitri Vrubel's "Bruderkuss" (Brotherly Kiss) and Birgit Kinder's "Test the Best," iconic murals. This gallery offers visitors the opportunity to see the history of the Berlin Wall and interpretations by artists from various parts of the world.

The East Side Gallery is a space of art and memory, witnessing Berlin's history and cultural diversity. This open-air gallery appeals to both history enthusiasts and art lovers and has become a symbol of change and hope in the years following the fall of the Berlin Wall. The East Side Gallery, as a place that merges Berlin's past and future, is an important part of the city, offering thoughts and inspiration to its visitors.
