The rapid development of Bursa, which began with the Ottoman rule, continued with the buildings and zoning activities all over the city in the 1400s. Mosques, madrasas and various public structures were built. The first mortar thrown at Yıldırım Beyazıt was the Ördekli Bath, which is among the interesting structures evaluated in this context.

The raids carried out in Anatolia by the Timur Empire towards the Ottomans were unfinished at that time. However, the bathhouse was completed in 1485 and started to serve. With its role in enhancing health and hygiene, it has contributed to the historical city, whose development continues.

The structure, which has served functions for centuries, has lost its importance over time. Finally, it was restored with restoration work completed in 2008 and regained function as a cultural center. The one-time bath houses seminar halls, educational halls, exhibitions, foyer and food and drink areas in two sections. Ördekli Hammam Cultural Center is the scene of various cultural-art activities within the historical fabric. Courses are given, concerts are held and, in general, they contribute to the cultural life of the ancient city of Bursa.
