One of the most important natural wonders of Bursa, Sadağ Canyon and Hot Springs attract local people to Orhaneli throughout the year. Orhaneli district is generally known as a mountainous district and is about 60 kilometers from the city center. Located 6 kilometers south of the district, the canyon is one of the two largest canyons in the city. This place is particularly popular with local tourists.
Located in the area, the village bears the same name as the canyon. The main entrance section of the canyon begins about two kilometers outside the village. The water line here can be considered as a starting point. Walking distance takes an average of one and a half hours. At certain points, you will encounter rocky areas around 60 meters as you move towards the canyon. Sadağ Creek will meet you on this road. You'll have to cross the stream to keep going. Plant and environmental regulations on the road have been successfully concluded. The presence of spa facilities opened in this area speeds up the regulation of the environment. There is now a vehicular path that will allow you to reach the canyon to the inland points. This paved road, which is bumpy from time to time, ends with an entrance added by the Directorate of Forestry.
There is a bathhouse in Sadağ Canyon dating back to BC. This bath was built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in dedication to his wife. The bath is surrounded by stone walls. Today, this bath is still intact. The 60-degree water simmering in the immediately opposite section of the creek is today included in the scope of the thermal plant. The large track between the canyon and the bathhouse is approximately two kilometers in length. This area is supported by various wooden bridges and ladders. This allows visitors to navigate the canyon more safely. After a little bit past the rock bath, you will encounter an impressive waterfall.
