Öşvank Monastery Church located in Çamlıyamaç village of Erzurum; famous for its colorful stone adornment and relief figures. During the Georgian Bagrat Dynasty. The church, built by 3rd Adernese's son, Magistras Bagrat, was completed between 963 and 973, according to the information in the inscription. The architecture of the building dedicated to Yahya the Baptist belongs to Grigor from Öşk. The Grand Dome saw it’s first repair. Then, it was repaired by Byzantine Emprorers, 2. Basileious and 7. Constantin between 1022 and 1028. There are abundant frescoes in the interior of the church. These decorations were made by Jojil Potrikios in 1036. The Church of The Monastery of Öşvank, with a cross planned, is cross-winged from the outside. However, there is a three-slice section of abscesses in it. There is also a long vista that is a continuation of the place. The bases of the columns in the interior of the building are adorned with herbal motifs and religious paintings. The two-storey section, which was found in the north, remained the original ity of this time when the church was first built, those in the south and west were added later. Inside the church there are sections such as bath, dormitory, baptism, priest houses, kitchen and library.
