Surre Regiment went down in history as a group that was set out in a ceremony to go to Hicaz on the 12th of the Month of Recep every year during the Ottoman period and carried the gifts of sultans. This inn, which is also guests the visiters coming to the city, was considered quite luxurious for its period. Since the transportation vehicles of that time can be done through animals such as horses, camels and donkeys, the inn workers were very elaborate thinking about their comfort.
