BuzzFest

Buzzfest, which was opened by Kadıköy Municipality on December 29, continues with the intense interest of both Kadıköy residents and Istanbulites living in other districts. "Buzzfest", which has been visited by approximately 7 thousand people since its opening, is waiting for its visitors until March 10 at Kadıköy Municipality Youth and Sports Center located in Kalamış Atatürk Park.

Kadıköy Municipality reorganized Buzzfest, which was held for the first time in 2020. For the festival, which started on December 29 and will last until March 10, two fields in Kalamış Youth and Sports Center were prepared as an ice rink and an ice slide track using special technology.

In the rink, which is open to all participants over the age of 4, people who have never ice skated before will be able to ice skate after the basic training given by the instructors in the area. In the festival, where a symbolic fee is charged in order to balance the high demand, helmets and skates are provided free of charge to those who come to the ice rink.

In addition to ice skating, the festival will be colorful with sound and light systems, and there will also be mini concerts and special surprise events for Valentine's Day. The system, built on an area of 500 square meters in Kalamış Park, is described as environmentally friendly due to the low use of water and electricity.

As a result of the survey conducted by Kadıköy Municipality in the Buzzfest area, arrangements are being made in the festival area in line with the demands of approximately 7 thousand visitors attending the festival.

The Buzzfest track will be open every day between 10.00-22.00 at Kadıköy Municipality Kalamış Youth and Sports Center located in Kalamış Atatürk Park between 29 December and 10 March. Sports fans will be able to have fun by ice skating or sliding down the slides with inflatable boats between these dates.
