On the other hand, many personal belongings, study rooms and books are offered to the visitors. The fact that the building hosting the museum is a 150-year-old wooden building is another factor in attracting the museum's attention. Although it has a nice view due to its privileged location, the fact that the museum is on the hill is sometimes considered as a disadvantage. Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar Museum House is open to visitors six days a week. You can visit this place between 10:00 and 16:00 every day except Monday. Visiting the museum is completely free.

The original house of Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar, one of the most brilliant writers of the Republican era, is closed to visitors for a period of repair. Under normal circumstances, the property rights of the museum belong to the Istanbul Special Provincial Administration; however, with the closure of this formation, the museum is transferred to the Istanbul Municipality. The Metropolitan Municipality has owned the property rights of the museum since 2013. Museum inventory delivery takes place in 2017.
