Otağtepe Fatih Grove, located in the Beykoz district in Istanbul, is one of the rare parks that have been able to preserve their naturalness in the heart of the city, just to the right of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. The park, formerly known as 'Otağtepe', is now called 'Fatih Grove Tema Vehbi Koç Nature Culture Center'.
It is rumored that in Otağtepe, where all Istanbul battles were held from the time of the His Holiness Osman to the period of the Ottoman Sultan Fatih Sultan Mehmet, to make the first preparations for the conquest of Istanbul in 1453, a tent was set up.
The grove, which took its current appearance by landscaping by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 1997, reveals the view of both the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge to the visitors.
There are walking paths in the grove, which offers a unique Bosphorus view, viewing terraces, and resting areas for nature lovers. The woods, which hosts tree and plant species such as magnolia, redbud, water lily, and linden, are ideal for those who want to get rid of the city's stress. Otağtepe Fatih Grove, one of the preferred destinations to see a panoramic view of Istanbul.
You can enjoy the view with your family or friends in the grove, where the green and blue sea meet and offer the pleasure of watching from sunrise to sunset.
