Rebul Pharmacy

Rebul Pharmacy is known for its lavender cologne in Turkey. Jean Cesar Reboul opened it with the name of Grande Pharmacie Parisienne (Great Paris Pharmacy) in 1895 at Rumeli Khan's lower floor in the Beyoglu district, Istanbul. Rebul, Beyoğlu's oldest pharmacy, which remained in the same place from the day it was opened until 2015, left its 120-year-old shop with the transformation project launched in those years and moved to its new location on Meşelik Street.

Kemal Müderrisoğlu, who started as an intern alongside the founder of the pharmacy, Jean Cesar Reboul, is the name who has carried the brand to today with 100 percent Turkish capital. With the partnership of the pharmacy by Jean Cesar Reboul's proposal, the cooperation continues with the name of Kemal and Rebou. This partnership ended when Monsieur Reboul transfers the partnership to him completely. After 1939, the pharmacy continues on its way with the "Rebul" brand as a sign of respect to the master, owned by Mr. Kemal.

The pharmacy, which produces medicines, lotions, and cosmetics from various herbal extracts with traditional methods, has gained an important place in the Turkish cosmetics sector with the brand "Rebul". In those days wandering around Istiklal Street by musk up lavender cologne became a ritual.
