Zoğrafyon Private Greek School was founded in Beyoğlu, İstanbul, in 1846 as the School of the Panayia Church, and it is located very close to Taksim Square. Money was raised to renovate the school, which dates back to the 19th century, as a modern school. The school's name was decided to be Zoğrafyan as a token of honor to Hristaki Zoğrafos, who donated a large amount.

Although the number of students in the semester when first graduates of Zoğrafyan took a diploma in 1899 was 350; today, the school has approximately 45 students and 20 teachers. The school's language of instruction is Turkish and Greek.

In 1948 Commercial High School was added to Zoğrafyon Greek High School, which was opened as a science high school. The school expanded due to increased capacity over time, underwent restoration, and regained its current appearance.

Among the school buildings that provide education in Istanbul, some have witnessed at least 100 years of history. At Zoğrafyon Private Greek School, which is one of them, students can continue their education and training lives besides experiencing the historical ambiance.
