Sepetcioglu Mansion

Although the figure 1884 on the iron sign on the entrance gate suggests that the mansion has a history of construction, activities are being organized to shed light on the public and students today at Sepetçioğlu Mansion, where the findings of the clear history have not been reached. The mansion, which is located on Gökdere Street and built in rectangular form close to the square; consisting of basement, ground floor and first floor. The building, which has been facing demolition over the years, was renovated in 1998 by the Provincial Special Administration. Sepetçioğlu Mansion, which entered the restoration works in 1999, was completely cleaned in 2000. Sepetçioğlu Mansion is now allocated to the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation, headquartered in Istanbul. Activities are carried out for the people and students of the neighborhood in Sepetçioğlu Mansion, which is used by this foundation for social and cultural activities.
