Özlüce Underground City

Özlüce Underground City, which is different from other underground cities as a design, stands out with its one-floor designed architecture. This underground city , set in a large area has two partition at the entrance. The area on the right side has a supply section, while the area on the left has living rooms. One of the most famous features of the underground city is that tuffs create a colorful layout.Unlike as it used to be due to, the old name of Özlüce Underground City, which welcomes its guests with a so-called color diversity, is also mentioned by this name as Zile. After the entrance of this underground city, which has two arched structures consisting of basalt and intersecting, there is a 15-meter-long, rubble-covered passageway. After the end of this corridor there is a sliding stone about two meters wide diameter. After the passageway, guests can reach the main tuff rock. Özlüce Underground City, located 6 km west of Kaymaklı Town, has supply warehouses, living rooms, galleries, cell-type rooms and places full of various traps.
